What is the Centre for Graduate Entrepreneurship?

Offering a year of free space and specialist support to graduate-led start-up businesses from across the West of England, the Centre can help your new enterprise to develop pre-commercial ideas and turn them into successful business enterprises.

Physical and virtual residencies are available to anyone who has graduated from any UK university in the last 3 years. Both options provide access to workspace, business advice, technical support and workshops. Residents will also build links with academics and can utilise university facilities.

Located in the new £16m University Enterprise Zone on UWE Bristol’s Frenchay Campus, the Centre benefits from being part of a collaborative environment that also houses the Future Space incubation facility and the Bristol Robotics Laboratory.

How is the Centre funded...?

The Centre for Graduate Entrepreneurship will receive up to £500,000 of funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is the programme's Managing Authority.

Established by the European Union, the ERDF helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects that support innovation, businesses, job creation and local community regeneration.
